What happened
Employee was assisting another staff in transferring a resident. The resident weighing 415 lbs. Asked to be lifted higher into her chair by pulling on the hoyer sheet that was under the resident. While pulling the hoyer sheet the EE felt a pop in the left side of her lower back. The EE said this caused her excruciating throbbing pain. The EE reported this to her supervisor. The supervisor sent the EE to Redicare.
