Before the incident
Working on scheduling. I had finished eating lunch at about [REDACTED]:45 and didn 't have a reaction until around [REDACTED]:15.
What happened
Sever Allergic Reaction. Large patches of hives covering entire upper body neck groin armpits and some patches on face and arms. Swelling in neck & throat throbbing head & ears. Hives were severely swollen and itchy Started with only a few hives but progressed quickly. I called the advice nurse at KP for guidance thinking maybe it could develop into an emergency or treated with OTC antihistamine. As I was describing the symptoms I noticed every time I lifted my shirt there was more hives and that they were starting to combine into large patches of swelling covering my entire torso mostly on the sides and my belt line. The advice nurse instructed me to take 50mg of [REDACTED] go to urgent care and that if I developed any difficulty with breathing to pull over and call [REDACTED]. I asked around the office for some [REDACTED] [REDACTED] gave me some and I took it. I also made sure my wife [REDACTED] knew of the emergency and would be able to pick up the kids from the bus in 15 minutes. [
