Before the incident
The associate was on a production line which produces solid core door slabs. All stiles rails are stapled at the junction to ensure quality. While the associate was stapling the rail to the stile the associates grip slipped and resulted in him firing the staple into their left thumb. The associate immediately reported the incident to the operations manager on site. All required PPE was in place including level III cut resistant gloves at the time of the incident.
