What happened
Several employees were performing rework of partially sealed IW product. This process requires the wrap to be removed. One of the employees asked FSQA for a cutting tool and FSQA gave them 2 parry knives typically used in RawFab areas. Two employees began using the knives when one spoke up and stated she did not believe those knives should be used for this process. The injured employee stated that they were ok because they were not sharp. She then ran the knife over the back of her hand several times in an attempt to show the knife was not sharp. This action caused the laceration on the back of her left hand.
