Before the incident
Employee was trying to remove a magnet from a GEMBA board fiberglass document holder that was broken. When employee was pulling the magnet off the holder the fiberglass around the magnet cracked and cut his left-hand middle and index fingers. Employee was given first aid on site and manager called Medcor. Although bleeding was stopped using the liquid bandage from the first aid kit Medcor referred employee to clinic due to wound being deeper than a scratch.
