The employee was working the espresso machine station and walked to make her way to turn the corner around the ice machine (where the incident happened) towards the cash register section.

What happened

A cup of ice was spilled on the floor by the employee 's co-worker prior to the incident. The spillage was not immediately cleaned up and was left on the floor as the shift continued. As the employee was walking to turn the corner she slipped and fell where the ice spillage happened. She mentioned hitting her head on the floor twice along with hurting the majority of the left side of her body during the fall. She said she sat and stayed on the floor for about 2-3 minutes and was helped by her co-worker getting up. She took her 30 minute break after this and felt nauseous for another 20-30 minutes after her break. The employee notified her supervisors [REDACTED] the incident and mentioned that she has a knot on her head her left leg and the left side of her body is sore. [REDACTED] after the incident the employee called out of her shift citing swollen eyes.
