Pallet jack fell off the trailer and landed on his leg There was an issue with the pallet jack when he was loading it and it did not stop right away when he would release the handle He was walking next to the pallet jack on the drivers side of the liftgate As he released the handle the pallet jack continued toward the end of the liftgate The pallet jack drifted a little to the passenger side edge of the liftgate and the drive wheel went off the edge [REDACTED] stated he tried to lower the liftgate to get the pallet jack to the ground but that the pallet jack started to shift as the liftgate was going down He jumped off the liftgate to use the lower controls and to provide some tilt assistance to keep the pallet jack on the liftgate The pallet jack fell as the liftgate was lowering from about half height from the ground He could not describe how the pallet jack struck him but it hit his left leg and foot This caused a cut just above the outside of his left ankle (shown in the second pic
