Employee was training and assisting in a grinding wheel change.

The wheel was being lowered by a second employee in the [REDACTED] cab. The injured employee realized a locating latch was out of position. There was no line of site between the employees. The employee reached in to move the latch and the first employee continued lowering the wheel pinning the employees finger between the wheel fixture and the wheel bolt.

Right index finger laceration which required 5 sutures.
