While removing an IV blood splattered on right side of face and in right eye of Primary RN. Eye wash was utilized immediately Nursing Supervisor was notified employee labs were drawn. Employee was informed to check in to ED so lab labels could be printed. Nursing Supervisor and affected RN called patient and obtained verbal consent to test blood. Lab notified ANM [REDACTED] 0417 - no valid sample in lab. Lab will escalate to leadership to check if sample in green top will work
