Positioning patient

The patient had neuro monitoring needles in place and while positioning the patient one the needles that was place in his right wrist came out. Unaware that the needle had come out when I went to grab his wrist his wrist with my right hand to move his arm the neuro needle stuck me in the 2nd finger. I washed my hands and used 70 alcohol and betadine to clean the stick before applying a bandaid.
