What happened
Patient arrived from ER on the stretcher. He had restraints on but they were not secured. We were in the process of transferring him to his bed when we were getting him to lay back and I was trying to apply his leads his left hand was let go of and he punched me in the side of my head injuring my ear. I went to ER to make sure he did not tear my eardrum.
