What happened
I was handling instrumentation as the surgeon and First Assist were closing the patient. FA moved with needle in hand accidently nicked my right palm. I was double gloved. Removed both sets of gloves saw a tiny bit of blood superficial cut. Suture needle was removed from the field right away and I was allowed to step out and wash my hands and report to charge nurse.
