[REDACTED] was trying to elope through the ambulance bay. A physical altercation occurred between the patient staff security and I. During this altercation the patient grabbed my right forearm-wrist and began pressing his fingernails into my skin causing a laceration. As I pulled my arm back to avoid additional injury the patient grabbed my right pinky finger and pulled it to the side. I felt a pop in my finger. I was able free my finger from the patients grasp.
