After starting IV on pt blood was discovered on outside of gloves including right index finger. Unknown if glove had hole in them and got onto RN 's bare hands. Pt states she is positive for [REDACTED] C. RN 's hands were washed multiple times w- soap and water. ED provider and house supervisor notified.
