On [REDACTED] at approx [REDACTED] a transporter and I tried to boost patient up in bed. Transporter pulled hard on the chuck it gave way and transporter 's hand accidentally struck my left eyeball. It was very painful but pain subsided and vision was not affected that day. At almost [REDACTED] [REDACTED] black spots and flashes of light were seen in field of vision in left eye. Went to TGH ED to r-o retinal detachment. Vitreous humor detachment found; will need follow-up care. Vision still affected.
