Before the incident
Taking out the trash.
What happened
I was taking out the middle trash in a double patient room and the bag over the trash can was half on half off. Due to this there was trash in the bottom of the trash can so I was picking it out using my hand. I felt a little poke on my right middle finger. I didn 't see a needle but I also did not look through the trash because I did not want to get poked again if it was. I checked my glove and there was no noticeable puncture to it that I could see but I am not one hundred percent sure since it could 've been hard to see such a small hole.
