Description: Laceration to left hand ring finger while replacing ultraviolet bulb and sleeve. Suspected Cause: Suspected cause is using to much force on the UV bulb and sleeve causing them to shatter. Immediate Actions Taken: Helped the employee wrap the wound with sterile pads and tape to control bleeding then transported him to the Emergency Room as there are no Urgent Care clinics close by.
