What happened
Description: 1. Employee was scheduled on [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] to go to [REDACTED] located at [REDACTED] and retrieve an offline Godwin pump. Employee was instructed to relocate Godwin after disconnecting the suction and discharge hose and leave both hoses on site. 2. He said that he needed to move the discharge pipe over so he get the Godwin pump out. He stated when he bent over to move the discharge pipe when he heard a pop in his down his back under shoulder blades and left side by ribs. This is where I felt sharp pain. Suspected Cause: Improper manual handling of hoses. Immediate Actions Taken: Upon discovered in a suspected work related injury proper communication and arrange medical appointment by a health care provider.
