Before the incident
CSA was on OJT for the FC position which involves lifting bags repetatively. She was on her 2nd round of OJT and actually made it to her sign off day got signed off and worked the [REDACTED] in her new FC position she expressed pain and soreness quite often but never attributed it to possible injury. When she arrived on my shift on [REDACTED] with what she expressed to me in regard to how she felt and that she would have limitations to the day I felt the best course of action would be to send her home without working and to have her fill out a EIR and see a doctor.
What happened
CSA was working on getting signed off as FC. She was on her 2nd round of OJT and expressed difficulty in lifting the bags. On her sign off day she was working with [REDACTED] and asked if she would be loading bags for the whole day. [REDACTED] let her know that she would be doing the two STAR flights and the turn and CSA expressed her pain in her shoulder and said she didn 't know if she could do it for all the flights. [REDACTED] acknowledged this and let CSA know that she could make that decision as the day went on and if she needed to stop it she could. CSA finished the day sore but didn 't think she was injured. The [REDACTED] the team was short staffed and CSA was just signed off as FC she was assigned there and worked the single STAR flight did a good job and went home to ice her shoulder to help it recover.
