What happened

Employee was working on rental unit 222571 trying to remove a pinion nut on the rear axle. He attempted to use impact gun to remove as that is the normal tool for such a job nut would not budge. He applied heat and attempted again still did not move. He set up a breaker bar with a cheater bar to extend the handle so leverage movement could be performed outside of underneath the truck. To put the breaker bar in place he had to prop it up using a jackstand so the angle would be correct when setting on the pinion nut. After he put the breaker bar onto the nut He attempted to slide back out from underneath the truck. In doing so the bar became dislodged from the nut striking him in the mouth face. The employee was taken to the hospital and received medical treatment.
