removing upper electrode on gun 1 of Highspeed step assist cell to check the tightness of pin isde

Two Maintenance Techs were working on Highspeed cell. Failed weld data at gun 1 stating pin loose. Cell was placed in teach mode for Tech to home robot 1 out of the way. The other tech went back into the cell to check the pin to make sure that it was not loose. He turned the cell back to run so he was able to drop the cylinder down to remove the upper electrode and check the tightness of the pin inside. He did not communicate to the other tech that he was going back into the cell. Tech 1 turned the cell back from run to teach so he could rehome robot 2. When it was turned from run to teach it caused the cylinder to move back up catching employees index finger.
