Before the incident
I was just getting out of the elevator when i stepped in water and started to slip. I proceeded to fall to the floor with both of my lower legs spreading out laterally to the ground. When my knees were almost to the ground my legs continued to slip out laterally until I was fully on the ground. During the fall I felt a pop in both knees and heard a crack. I was in shock and sitting there for a moment before another partner noticed me and came to check on me. She saw the water on the floor and started to wipe it up. I took a minute to collect myself and then stood up and ambulated to the L&D Nurses station. Upon my arrival the pain was too severe and another partner took me to the ER to be evaluated. Dr. evaluated me and took XRays on my knees.
