What happened
Insulin needle. Student gave patient insulin administered insulin in left upper arm. She states no blood was seen on patient upon removing needle she immediately activated safety and when she went to dispose needle she felt a grazed-scraped left thumb. She denies glove tore or no open area. When cleaned with alcohol pad then soap water she never felt any stinging.
