What happened
The label webbing on the rewind spool was very tight and they could not get it off of the spindle. EE was holding the spindle with both hands hitting it on the coner of a metal cabinet to try and loosen it. After hitting it a few times the middle finger on their right hand ended up between the metal cabinet and the spindle causing a laceration that required 9 stitches and fractured the bone.
