What happened
Maintenance Technician was about to place a spray paint mark on a couple of buckets on the batch plant bucket elevator to check for full travel after repairs to the bucket elevator had been completed. The spray can was placed too close to the moving bucket conveyor belt and came into contact with a bucket. The upward momentum created a pinch of the finger between the spray can and the bucket elevator steel housing.
