Before the incident
Moving bariatric patient up stairs.
What happened
While moving bariatric patient up stairs which required 8 crew members.. I was on patient 's left side. It was a narrow stairway. While approaching the first step. My right side forcefully hit the handrail causing instant pain. I had to continue carrying patient up the stairs. Once up the stairs I began to get dizzy and light headed from the pain.
