Cleaning up a patient
What happened
Pt had soiled himself in the med onc bathroom. He needed assistance getting cleaned up. It was not the ideal circumstance or positioning to clean a pt up as he had to sit and stand and I had to squat and stand and reach around to clean and place an adult diaper. There was feces dripping down his legs. I did this by myself as everyone else was taking care of other pts. The two witnesses were grabbing supplies for me as this is an unusual event in the outpatient arena. LEFT SHOULDER LEFT UPPER ARM.
