Before the incident
Crew was assisting a 6’5 400-500lb pt with back pain off the floor.
What happened
[REDACTED] and Tango 20 EMT [REDACTED] had a sheet wrapped around the back of the pt and underneath his arms to assist in getting him to a standing position without success. After a discussion the pt was able to get himself back onto the bed as he was kneeling on the floor pt then rolled onto his back. The pt counted to 3 while rolling forward and they assisted him to a standing position using the sheet. Pt was then seated on the stretcher secured loaded in ambulance. It was not until we arrived at [REDACTED] that [REDACTED] said he injured his shoulder.
