What happened
On [REDACTED] an employee was tasked to install a leak diverter on a 6-inch water line inside the boiler room. While doing so the leak intensified and also gained in heat due to being connected to the hot water tank. This scalded the head neck and upper back. Urgent Care was called and a message was left. [REDACTED] was called and employee was checked out by fire crew. Employee was also taken to Abrazo medical center of Surprise emergency room to be revaluated. Employee was released.
