At approximately [REDACTED] an employee working as an RP packer on [REDACTED] 4 reported feeling as though she had pulled a muscle in her left hand while performing her regular duties. As the day progressed she noticed swelling and increasing pain in the affected area. She stated that the symptoms began during routine packing activities without any unusual exertion. Around [REDACTED] the employee informed her supervisor of the issue. She was provided with an ice pack and following a consultation with the hotline nurse left work early to seek medical evaluation for her hand.
