Associate was cutting the white plastic band of carton skid. He could not get success the first time he used more strength the second time. The cut reached the associates right forearm and made a deep cut on himself. He held his left hand on injury and approached L1 first responder associate was moved to the first aid room associate used unauthorized knife (from home) and was not wearing proper cut resistant gloves for the task.
