What happened

The employee was assisting a resident with toileting when the resident lost balance. The employee attempted to pull the wheelchair toward the resident to prevent a fall but the wheelchair brakes were engaged. As she pulled she felt a snapping sensation from her right wrist up to her shoulder. The resident then fell onto the employees right hand and the wheelchair.
