Employee was completing a sit to stand transfer with a patient in the patient 's room.

Completing a sit to stand transfer with a patient employee had both hands on gait belt during transfer verbal cues were given to the patient. As the patient began to stand employee heard a pop and felt pain in their left wrist. Employee was able to maintain grip on the gait belt and safely sat patient back down.
