EE struck left hand with rubber mallet while holding spanner wrench to loosen lock collar for upper sealing. Laceration occurred between the thumb and forefinger which started bleeding immediately. First aid was applied then the decision was to go to the ER. Wound was closed with steri-strips and EE was given a tetanus shot and prescription antibiotic.
