What was the employee doing just b4 the incident: Employee went to pick up a patient from his room.

Employee went to pick up a patient from his room. The nurse reported that his IV had come out and the patient was bleeding prior to arrival. The nurse dressed the site and the patient was ready to go to the gym. The employee pushed the wheelchair down to the gym and noticed a small spot or drip of blood on the back of their finger. The employee did not have gloves on at that time and did not have broken skin in the area where the blood was. The employee did have some small nicks in their skin in other areas on their hands. The employee washed their hands and wore gloves the remainder of the session.
