While assisting setting up tables and putting tables cloths on them for retirement party for [REDACTED] slid table over to the right while walking backwards struck step causing a fall onto the step. Hurt right hand while attempting to break fall with the hand stretched out. Right hand became swollen and there was pain incurred as the day went on.
