I turned off the steam line. I used the pipe wrenches to loosen the union and while I was using my left hand on one pipe wrench to back up the fitting and then used my right hand to pull and loosen the fitting. My wrist popped and it felt like I popped something out of place. it felt numb and fingers tinkly.
