Removing property out of company vehicle after shift moving into personal vehicle

Transportation TM was returning from their shift when they parked their tractor in the front employee parking lot.The TM exited the tractor and walked around to the passenger door. The TM climbed up through the passenger door and grabbed their belongings. As the TM was stepping down the tractor steps backwards the TM 's left foot made contact with an unlevel surface in the parking lot. The TM stated they fell to the ground their ankle really hurt and when trying to stand up they fell a second time.
