What happened
According to the Manufacturing Manager on nights Employee picked up a hopper full of empty color bags and took it to the compactor to be dumped. The hopper had pallets in the bottom of it so when employee dumped the hopper the pallets fell into the compactor laying on top of the bags. employee went into the compactor while supervisor held the safety gate and employee stomped on the pallets to push the bags down. Supervisor said at that point employee did not say anything about his knee hurting. ** On the paperwork had put the incident occurred on [REDACTED] however at [REDACTED] it would have been [REDACTED]. Supervisor was notified at [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] Via text from employee that he was going to the ER.
