Before the incident
Employee was attempting to retrieve a jammed boot from the booter #3 with a hook tooling. The hook tooling was not getting the jammed boot out of machine so employee placed finger in the slot to clear the boot.
What happened
The associate placed finger into the slot to clear the boot. Laser of machine was compromised and pressure was felt on the hand. Fault button pressed and triggered release of the boot stopper slat.
