finishing concrete
What happened
[REDACTED] was operating a 3 'finishing trowel on top of a concrete cast panel. He accidentally hit an electrical box while finishing the concrete. That caused him to lose control of the machine loss the grip on the handle. The handle swung around and hit him in the midsection. He then regained control of the machine and shut it down. He started to check for any injuries visible. Did not see any. But he felt soreness to his midsection. He then took a break in order to try to recover. He said he was okay but sore from the impact of the machine. He was asked if he needed medical attention. He said he would be alright. Just needed a break. I said okay but that he should take it easy the rest of the day.
