Before the incident
Employee was rolling 500 pound 53 gallon oak whiskey barrels off of a box truck onto the loading dock.
What happened
They employee rolled a barrel up onto the dock leveler for retrieval by another employee. The employee turned to get another barrel. The barrel on the dock leveler rolled back towards the employee temporarily pinning his leg between that barrel and another barrel in the truck.
Injury or illness
Lower left leg. Abrasion with minor bleeding and bruising. Xray determined there was no break and stitches were not required.
