the employee was working on a project that required polishing or turning a round part. He took the pieces to that lathe that he wanted to use.

Supposedly the employee turned on the Hardinge [REDACTED] and maybe it didn 't engage the way he wanted it to. He supposedly unscrewed the door knob and opened the door to reach into the drive mechanism without locking out the power. When he did so his fingers got caught in the belot or drive mechanism shearing off or crushing his fingers.
