What happened
The employee was working on [REDACTED] wrapper that was having issues with the film sensor and cookies from stoppages were being added back into the line. While running the wrapper an excess of cookies came down the line and into the lug section of the wrapper. The employee reached into the lug area to pull out the excess cookies and while doing so their right ring finger enter the lug track and was struck by a lug. The lug pushed the employees finger causing it to be lacerated by the lug channel.
