Employee was forming parts in the machine trimming them first with a box knife on 2 small pieces on the part and then the part in its entirety is trimmed with a hand router followed by a reamer to clean up and then placing them in a box for shipping

Employee was doing final cleanup on a part that had been run before [REDACTED] with his reamer he noticed 2 small pieces that had to be excised with a box knife before being routered were still in place he put his reamer in his left hand and tried to hold the part steady while using his box knife to cut out the pieces with his right hand. He was unable to steady the part and slipped with the knife and cut his left forearm.

The injury was an approximately 2 inch laceration to the top of his left forearm that required 5 stiches to close.
