Nurse was standing too close to surgeon during procedure and her hand was in close proximity of the needle. When surgeon was suturing to pull the stitch closed the needle was pointed in her direction and her hand was too close in proximity and it punctured through her glove and broke skin on her left index finger at the knuckle.
