What happened
A guest called from their room stating that they had fallen and couldn 't get up. The guest requested an employee be sent to their room to help them get off the floor. The front desk sent [REDACTED] upstairs to help the guest. When [REDACTED] got to the guests room he saw the guest on the floor near the end of the bed. [REDACTED] pulled the guest up into a sitting position on the floor. The guest was still unable to get up. [REDACTED] squatted down and had the guest bear hug himself. [REDACTED] then stood up and got the guest into a chair. The above description of events is a summary of [REDACTED] 's written and signed statement. He also mentions and aid of the person on the floor but I have not been able to verify if there was an aid helping the guest as well.
Injury or illness

Object or substance involved
This injury occurred because [REDACTED] did something he should have said no to. AmeriTel never asks or expects employees to physically pick up a person or provide any medical assistance of any kind. Employees learn during CPR training that if someone has fallen and cannot help themselves up that 911 should be immediately called. They are also trained not to move someone who has fallen because you can hurt them or yourself.
