Cleaning pulling wire from spools

EE was pulling wire when half way through the spool he noticed it was a mixed spool (EC wire and ACRS). EE decided to cut the EC wire not realizing that it was holding a piece of ACRS wire in place. he employee cut the ACSR wire. The wire remained tangled underneath a piece the EC wire. The employee then began to manually unroll the EC wire. The wire had stored energy and kicked back towards his face when it was cut.
