Before the incident
I was prepping IV Dilaudid to administer to a patient.
What happened
I flicked an air bubble out of the syringe and dilaudid splashed into my eye. I was encouraged to go to the ED to rule out any injury. After the ED physician examined my eye it was determined that I got a corneal abrasion from the incident.
