What happened
I was putting the needle cap on after giving patient insulin. I am unsure how it all happened as it was quick and am unsure if the retractable part malfunctioned before putting cap on to dispose of needle. I had gloves on and was unaware if a needle stick happened. I did feel a little poke but was unsure until I took my glove off and saw a pin point blood spot.
